CNAB welcomes U.S. decision to extend B visa validity for Bosnia and Herzegovina

May 22, 2010

Congress of North American Bosniaks (CNAB) welcomes the United States’ Department of State and Homeland Security announcement to extend the validity of tourism and business category visas for Bosnia and Herzegovina from the current one year period to ten years (the maximum allowable world-wide).

This is an extraordinary sign of friendship and partnership that the United States continues to demonstrate towards the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This further validates the United States long term commitment to peace and stability in Bosnia.

CNAB is hopeful that the U.S. will also continue to push for reforms necessary to accelerate Bosnia on the roadmap to NATO membership and full euro-Atlantic integration.  CNAB especially recognizes Ambassador Charles English and the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo for recommending this very important measure.
