CNAB President met with the President of Bosnia and Herzegovina in New York

Haris Alibašić, President of the Congress of North American Bosniaks (CNAB), met today with the President of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zeljko Komsic and Ambassador Nerkez Arifhodžić, diplomatic advisor. They discussed concrete actions that can help strengthen Bosnia and Herzegovina to become a viable and functional state.
Among other things, the conversation focused on the role of Bosnian diaspora and particularly the role of the Congress of North American Bosniaks, whose work was prasied and deemed very positive by president Komsic.
Further discussion on the role of the U.S. government and the way Bosnian diaspora in the United States can influence a more active U.S. role in finding a lasting solution to the situation in BiH. President Komsic stressed the important role the U.S. played in Bosnia, from the NATO campaign to the drafting of the Dayton agreement. Haris Alibašić stressed the need to work on a joint platform for all pro-Bosnian forces and offered CNAB for cooperation in achieving common goals.
