Joint press release regarding arrests of war criminals

The Congress of North American Bosniaks (CNAB), the Institute for Research of Genocide Canada (IRGC), and the Bosnian American Genocide Institute and Education Center (BAGI) welcome the news of  the arrest and remand of Aleksandar Cvetkovic by the Israeli police following an extradition request by the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Aleksandar Cvetkovic is a Bosnian Serb who moved to Israel in 2006 and is accused of direct involvement in  the cold blooded execution of more than 1,000 Bosniak civilians in the Srebrenica Genocide.  Read more

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Presidency over the UN Security Council

Bosnia and Herzegovina began the New Year 2011 by assuming the Presidency of the United Nations Security Council for the month of January, headed by H.E. Mr. Ivan Barbalic, the Permanent Representatives of BH at the United Nations in his capacity as the President of the UN Security Council. This represents the first time in history that Bosnia and Herzegovina received the honor and privilege of presiding over the council. Read more
